Xtreme Cleaning have recently sponsored a talented young kart racer, Steven Prentice. Steven has only been racing since July 2007 and came 3rd overall in the West of Scotland Kart Club Honda Cadet Championship even though he only started racing halfway through the season!
We will update this page after all of Steven's races;
3rd February 2008; Steven won, convincingly, the Winter Series Honda Cadet Championship at the West of Scotland Kart Club, he won both his heats and the final in bitterly cold conditions.
2nd March 2008 WSKC Club Championship Round 1; Steven was racing against Ashley England, who came 3rd in the Super 1 series for Honda Cadets in 2007. There were 3 heats and a final, Ashley came 1st in the first and third heats with Steven winning the second heat and final.

1st June 2008 WSKC Club Champioship Round 4; Steven was again kept busy by Rory Dickson but also with Chloe Scott, who has just switched over from the Comer Cadet class to the Honda's. The day started off dry but by the third heat it started to rain. Steven won heat 1, 3 and the final. Chloe won heat 2. When the final came round it was VERY heavy rain and there were a few spins but Steven managed to avoid this and not spin himself to take the win in the rain.
15th June 2008 Scottish Super Series Round 4, Crail; This time the track has a new layout which was new to Steven. Steven only won heat 2 as Steven Pollock dominated the Honda Cadets! Steven still leads the Super Series.
6th July 2008 WSKC Club Championship Round 5; I would imagine Steven would have liked to have stayed at home on this race weekend as he had engine problems which resulted in missing heat 2. Steven's mechanic aka his dad worked his magic and patched it up for him to come 2nd in the final which was a great result considering the day he had.
13th July 2008 Scottish Super Series Round 5, Banff; As the Super Series nears the final hurdle Steven is comfortably leading the points table. Today Steven qualified on pole and in heat 1 came 2nd to Chloe Scott, 3rd in heat 2 as he just could not find a way by a wide Daniel Roll, 2nd in the pre final and again 2nd in the final.
3 August 2008 WSKC S Plate Festival Weekend; This was a one off championship being held at the prestigious Summerlee Raceway in Larkhall. This weekend Joe Taylor #88 who's home track is Rowrah came to try out the Larkhall circuit. Also Steven Pollock was racing in both Cadet classes trying to win both of the "S" plates. This was a mixed weekend for Steven as he won his first heat but lost a chain in heat 2 so was 7th, came 2nd in heat 2 and then in the final after a first lap incident he was nearly 4 seconds off the leaders but after a spirited drive won the final and the prize money!!
9August 2008 Scottish A Plate one day championship, Golspie; The A plate is a one day championship contested over qualifying, 3 heats a pre final and a final. Steven won a heat but came 3rd in the final. Chloe Scott dominated the day and won the A plate with Lewis McNab coming in 2nd.
